Saint Francis Assisi Birdhouse and Woodburning

I love to incorporate my Faith into my art. One of my favorite gourd embellishments is sketching a garden scene and then woodburning it on a gourd birdhouse. I apply minimal color to the woodburning using oil pencils. This particular gourd was the beginning of whole collection of Saintly Birdhouses I made in 2012 and will add to this new year. I've made sketches of a Saint Therese, Our Lady of Grace, Saint Joseph, and Guardian Angel garden scenes. Interested in your own Saintly Birdhouse? I would love to do a custom woodburning for you.
